Bangers & Mash is a London-based supper club started in 2023 by Ciaran Wight and Olivia Pemberton. Back then, dinners were hosted at Ciaran’s flat and the guests were primarily his and Olivia’s friends. Three years later, it has evolved into a more elevated experience at a new venue and their branding needed to reflect that.

Their old logo reflects Olivia (bangers) and Ciaran (mash) in a playful, yet quite literal way. As they are very much the heart and soul of the supper club, I still wanted them represented in the new logo, but in a more mature style. I used Roylands typeface, an elegant vintage font, paired with a modern sans serif for balance. The darker red on ivory evokes a French bistro.
